<p>B&amp;B Concrete is proud to support the Enlarged City School District of Middletown through our work on the Twin Towers Middle School expansion—a project aimed at improving educational facilities and student accessibility.</p><p><br></p><p>Working under Worth Construction, B&amp;B Concrete was responsible for delivering a broad range of structural and site concrete scopes vital to the success of the new additions. Our work included installation of spread footings, column piers, grade beams, retaining and foundation walls, elevator pit structures, and concrete stairs both interior and exterior. A key highlight of the project was the construction of 25-foot-tall foundation walls and 5'x5' structural piers, requiring careful planning and execution to ensure stability and alignment.</p><p><br></p><p>We also performed extensive slab-on-grade and large-scale slab-on-deck pours, incorporating vapor barriers, insulation, and welded wire reinforcement to meet performance and durability requirements. Our scope supported new mechanical and electrical systems as well, with the installation of equipment pads and stair landings integrated with conduit encasements.</p><p><br></p><p>The B&amp;B team coordinated closely with the general contractor to manage phasing, site logistics, and embedded requirements while maintaining project momentum.</p><p><br></p><p>This addition will serve as a lasting investment in the learning environment and safety of students, and B&amp;B is honored to have contributed to a project with such a positive impact on the Middletown community.</p>
